Carol Singing at Bow Brickhill December 2002
|
As is our normal practice we toured one end of
the village one night, took a break the next and completed the
task the night after. |
|

|
|
Although it was sub-zero both nights everyone
had a good time.
On the Thursday we were welcomed by hot punch and mince pies by
the Mears family in Drakewell
Road - once home of Fred & Audrey Odell.
Inside at last away from the cold the appreciation of warmth and
sustenance shows on the face of the singers. |
|

|
The two nights of singing raised £238 for church funds - but much
more importantly a longstanding tradition was once more
upheld.
The custom was first revived in 1991 and has continued come rain and
snow each since since that date.
