On Saturday 15 July 2000 the Parish Council held a day of Millennium Celebrations for the village.

At 4.30 pm, Fred Odell, one of the oldest inhabitants of Bow Brickhill and the member of a family which has been resident here for hundreds of years, took part in a celebration on the green to bury the village's Millennium Time Capsule. 

A pig roast barbecue and barn dance followed in the evening and a throughly good time was had by all.  Here are some pictures of the day's events.

	Everyone in the village was invited to to fill an envelope to be included in the time capsule.
Lots of children were on hand to offer their help in sealing the container .....
	....and filling it with inert gas.
Guess who?  Some minor adjustments were made  before ....
	..... the time capsule was lowered into the hole
