THE AUSTRALIAN MUNDY FAMILY

Above - thought to be John Mundy, Henry's brother (2nd from right)  with the white beard with Dolly his wife beside him, daughter Rose (middle rose 2nd from right) and Alice (known as Cis) with her arm on the child beside her. With them are other early occupants of the Kialla Settlement.

Above - George Francis Mundy, Henry's son (1857 - 1923)  with his wife Esther (nee Johnson) (1856 - 1935). They were married in 1877.

George and Esther had five children:   Mary Matilda 1879-1889 (drowned), Esther Elizabeth 1881, Percival George 1884 -1961,  Reginald Clarence Rupert 1888-1915,  Sylvia Viviene May 1892.  Esther, Sylvia, Percival and Reginald are pictured above

Harold Mundy above - it was he who gave the Mundy manuscrips to Les. Hughes' father.
