The Wheatsheaf, Bow Brickhill

01908 374795

A traditional, cosy village pub serving excellent food, good beer and providing a great atmosphere. Visit the pub's own website here. The pub hosts a Working Lunch on the first Tuesday of each month.

The original thatched building burnt down many years ago but not before photography captured its charm. Click here for old photos.

The Wheatsheaf, now under new management,  is quickly gaining an excellent reputation as a first class restaurant. Here are just a few unsolicited reviews:

"Great food and great service and a fab new look."

"Long business lunch for two - good service, friendly owner, great food, smart decor, efficient ambience and no pressure on time. Will be back"

"We (12 of us from the village) have just had a fantastic meal and evening at the Wheatsheaf. "

"We went on Thursday evening and enjoyed a really good meal. Thoroughly recommend the seared scallops - cooked to perfection."

"Was looking for somewhere to eat last Monday and remembered your recommendation so we went to the Wheatsheaf and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The people and the food were lovely and we will be returning."
"We just had a really good meal at the Wheatsheaf.

What a transformation! Chorizo and potato salad, baked cod, a lovely bit of pork belly.....in our village!

I'd highly recommend it."
