HARPUR TRUST SCHOOLS
As the village is on the Bletchley to Bedford railway line Harper Trust schools at Bedford are popular.

The four schools, (Bedford School and Bedford Modern School for and Bedford High School and Dame Alice Harpur School for girls), command an enviable reputation regionally and nationally, and their boarding houses accommodate children from many parts of the world.  Bedford Modern will become co-educational in September 2003 with girls joining years 3-7 (age 7-11) and the Sixth Form.

These schools between them provide the education for some 4,300 pupils aged seven to eighteen. The schools offer a number of Government assisted places for day pupils which are free or with reduced fees according to income. The schools also offer Harpur Bursaries financed from the Trust's endowment income.

Details of all schools within the Milton Keynes Education Authority can be found on MK Web - where there is an excellent location map facility.
